When I look back to when I was a boy, it seems collecting was just part of my natural disposition. Like stubbornness, or shyness, my interest in collecting ‘things’ came as natural as walking.
It was stamps that took my initial fancy, those fascinating little pictures on the top right hand of my mother’s letters, like little windows into a whole story of their own. After that, coins from all over the world that I’d find around the garden; little pages of their own wonderous world map.
So I’ve been collecting ever since. Usually small things, usually items that give my imagination a gap in the fence to a bigger story.
As I unearth the whatnots that have long lain in dusty boxes, I decided to set them free into the world. Welcome to my blog.
